A lot of our bedroom storage pieces have a variety of dresser, chest, and night table options available, particularly our custom bedroom collection.Īt the same time, Ethan Allen is a custom house, and a lot of our clients prefer to mix and match beds and furniture to create their own looks. Yes! Several of our beds have coordinating bedside tables or additional storage: Continental, Burke, Merrick, Georgetown, and Cayman, to name a few. Is Ethan Allen a place where I can buy a bedroom set? It’s an art we’ve been perfecting for nearly nine decades. We’re proud of our reputation for crafting high-end bedroom furniture and so much more. And it’s not just our wood craftsmanship that we’re proud of every upholstered fabric or leather bed you purchase from Ethan Allen has been tailored by hand. We take time to carefully formulate finishes, and as each layer is applied-paint, stain, distressing, glaze, varnish, spatter-it’s inspected for quality before the next layer can be added. Our drawers aren’t built by sliding boards into grooves or screwing flat corners together we carve in the pins and tails of dovetail joinery, and we glue the joints by hand. At another, you’ll see large, squared logs pass through an intricate lathe to be cut into beautiful turned bedposts, which are then taken and sanded by hand to prep the surface for a flawless finish. At one station, you’ll see someone painstakingly choosing squared pieces of lumber and hand-gluing them together to create the perfect headboard. Even now that my chairs say ready to ship, they are not ready to ship and its been a couple days and I’m still waiting on a response. Our craftspeople take a lot of pride in their woodworking skills. Had I known my items were out of stock I probably would have ordered them elsewhere. The problem I have is that they claim furniture is in stock when it’s not. I emailed customer service and they gave me the same 3-4 week spiel then claimed that my order had been cancelled and that I had been refunded which is not true. While browsing the website I see that the barstools I had ordered that were “out of stock” were labeled “ready to ship” on the website. Once I emailed I learned that they were indeed out of stock and I was looking at about 5 weeks. I chose to purchase from them because the website said the items were in stock. I was charged immediately and got an initial order confirmation email but didn’t hear anything else until I reached out two weeks later (then about 3 days after that). I ordered $4040 work of furniture on May 26th. At this point, all we want is our money back. I filed a complaint to the BBB today and will also be following up with the Ohio Attorney General's office. The countless negative reviews online all mirror our experience we are just another family who has fallen victim to unethical business practices. I called the Burke Decor outlet to see if they could be of any help and the person I spoke to confirmed that our experience corroborates other customers' who are calling and attempting to resolve issues with their orders. I sent an email to their cancellations, sales, and customer services departments and included photos. We called customer service immediately only to hear an automated recording that they're no longer taking calls the message directs customers to their online chat (inactive on weekends), and their email.
BURKE DECOR ORDER TRACKING DRIVERS
The delivery drivers recorded written documentation of the damage and took photos they confirmed it was visible to the vendor via the app. It arrived today completely damaged, so we refused it.

Finally in July we got confirmation that the table would be arriving on July 6. When we called the carrier company, they said the table hadn't been scanned and therefore hadn't been collected by them at all. After over a month we requested to cancel our order they refused and said the table was already in route to the local warehouse, where it would then be loaded onto a truck and delivered to us. Every time we called we were met with hostility for inquiring about our order and were given the run-around. We called customer service many times and each time they explained that the carrier should be collecting the item from their warehouse within 5-7 business days. We were given a tracking number that was inactive/ gave no information. After weeks of not hearing anything about our order, we reached out for a shipping estimate. We purchased a dining room table on May 14 and were charged the ~$1300 two days after purchase.
